so get this. i'm going on a few weeks ago about this ice cream treat that i used to eat as a little turd face. i used to eat a couple a week. they were called snack and a half. motha fuckin ice cream surrounded by two oatmeal cookies covered in god damn chocolate. shit was gooooood. so i google it to see if they are still around. nothing. not even a picture from the 80's. they pretty much vanished off the face of the earth. so i do some researching. and by research i mean i typed in oatmeal cookie and ice cream into google. then i discovered that there is some brand in san francisco called "it's it" that pretty much makes exactly what i wanted. i kind of forgot about the whole thing for a while until i found myself in SF two weeks later. i was like "oh shit, it's it!!!, it's it!!!!!!" and i ran up into a corner store and picked one up and gobbled it down. oh man, IT WAS IT. i'm gonna say it again. ice cream surrounded by oateal cookies, and not just any oatmeal cookies, oatmeal cookies that your grandma made. yeah she personally made that shit. then your other grandma made the chocolate. crazy right? yeah shits gooooood.

this past week someone had a birthday, we went on a day trip to seattle and my friend got married.delicious homemade cheeeeeeeeeeesecake.
i found the directory for the lower mainland 1978/9 in the seattle public library. i found my parents in it before i was born. in a address and farm i dont recognize. it felt like i went on a time machine and spied on them. because at this point i wasnt even a nucleus. my parents didnt even know who i was.

this is the cracky woman who had the potential to devastate the wedding. she actually ran around grabbing the mic blurting out insane things. she quite possibly could have tripped and knocked over the 5 tier wedding cake. good for her.

so i sliced my finger up pretty good last week. heres some photos to show you the healing process.

first day, pretty mangled, wouldnt stop bleeding. didnt hurt too bad. the cut was cleaaaaaan. it kind of went sideways into my finger so it was more like a filet. probably like half a centimetre.

second day pretty much looked like darth vaders face. didnt feel too great either. i left the bandaid off for as long as possible to dry that shit out.

one week after the slicing. pretty mellow. swimming in salt water helps heal it pretty good. i can touch it and it doesn't hurt. but i don't think it would withstand a full flick yet. it would probably blow up.

you seen these things? they're everywhere. they suck. we discussed that its probably some company trying to reach a "edgey" audience or something with their campaign. totally shitty campaign. you can tell cuz its printed really crisp and its really got no interesting message behind it at all. except to wear stripes and have a vespa. so i checked around a bit and found this.

?There appears to be a trend towards ?What?s old is new again? and the whole retro vibe among the younger demographic,? says Jennifer Errico, marketing manager at Vespa Canada. The S is an attempt to reach the younger segment of the scooter?s traditional 25- to 45-year-old customer base.

Ad agency of record Dentsu has designed a campaign around a character with the scooter?s retro-styled handlebars for a head. Nicknamed ?Antlerhead? by the agency?s creative catalyst Glen Hunt, the character will appear online and in national daily newspapers under headlines such as ?Holy S? and ?Are you S enough??

Antlerhead will also be projected onto outdoor surfaces thanks to a partnership with Toronto-based Optiadmedia, which will use projectors mounted on Vespa S scooters.

Dentsu has also teamed with famed Canadian photographer and graffiti artist Faux Reel to produce some of his hallmark street art for the launch. Life-size, black-and-white images of Antlerhead will begin appearing in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal in early April.

Vespa is also launching a TV ad for its overall brand. Though it?s been available in Canada for four years, the brand is still very much in outreach mode, says Errico.

?People know it and recognize it, but [Canada] is still very much SUV land. Our job is to let people know that there are other options for transportation and Vespa is top-notch.?

Based on the idea that Vespas are decidedly not for hard-core motorcycle enthusiasts, the TV spot (which will also be online and likely in cinema) features a stunt rider trying unsuccessfully to jump a scooter over a row of cars and setting himself on fire.

The scene cuts to the same rider offering a lift to a young woman, who wraps her arms around his waist. The spot concludes with a voiceover saying ?Vespa: not built for jumping. Vespa: built for love.?

?Let?s face it, a Vespa isn?t a hog,? says Hunt. ?It?s iconic, it?s Italian, it?s sexy.?

some sad news today. today at 445 pm the black toe nail on right big toe, fell off. after a love affair that began in mid december after an unfortunate snowboarding accident, the love between black toe nail and big toe blossomed. the love between the two was most obvious while on long walks and during the pedaling of bicycles nestled between a pair of chuck taylors. witness crunchator had this to say, "i don't know, i was just bathing and all of a sudden it seemed like black toenail just gave up. i think he's in a better place now. it's almost like he knew that big toe was ready as well, cuz there's a retarded looking mini toe nail on it now."
family is requesting that reese's peanut butter cups and apple fritters be sent in lieu of flowers.

so i found this video clip of a nirvana performance. i remember watching this EXACT performance on tv at my friend mike's house in grade 9. im sure it was one of the first times i was hella messed on something. the feedback totally messed with my shit. we cooked hashbrowns in the oven at 200 farenheit instead of celsius. shit was basically just thawed. then after the show was done we were flipping through the chanels and a uncensored clip of a woman giving birth was on tv. shiiiiit. crazy shits always on tv when your tripping and your 14.

so we climbed onto an apartment roof with binoculaurs and tried to get some goods. but after a few minutes of no action we gave up. climbing down the fire-escape i heard some japanese. really loud. a girl was hanging out her window smoking and on the phone talking to her friend in japan. i translated. becky transcribed. the following was captured.
